Certified Medical Interpreter Services in Minnesota

Credential-matched medical interpreters for hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation, behavioral health and other healthcare settings.

Metro Language supports healthcare communication in Minnesota through qualified and, when required, nationally certified medical interpreters. We confirm the requested language, care setting, delivery method and credential requirement before assigning an interpreter.

Metro Language supports clients throughout Minnesota, including major population centers and surrounding communities, without claiming a physical office in every city.

Assignments may include registration, informed-consent discussions, examinations, care planning, discharge instructions, rehabilitation, behavioral health, pharmacy counseling, home health and follow-up care. Patient privacy and professional boundaries are treated as core requirements.

Available medical language access: scheduled in-person interpretation, video remote interpretation and over-the-phone interpretation. Requests for CCHI- or NBCMI-certified interpreters, ASL credentials, vaccination records, drug screening, HIPAA training or facility-specific onboarding are confirmed before scheduling.

Metro Language supports hospitals, clinics, physician practices, rehabilitation providers, behavioral-health teams, insurers, home-care organizations and public-health programs throughout the state.

Are all medical interpreters certified?

No. Certification is language- and credential-specific. We verify CCHI, NBCMI, ASL or other requested credentials before confirming an assignment that requires them.

Do interpreters receive HIPAA training?

HIPAA awareness is required for Metro Language healthcare assignments, with any additional facility requirements confirmed during onboarding.

Can you support urgent needs?

OPI and VRI may provide faster remote access. In-person availability depends on the language, credentials, location and notice provided.
